Rationale

My research revealed about my chosen rhyme "Jack and Jill"are said to be King Louis XVI;
Jack who was beheaded "lost his crown" followed by his Queen Marie Antoinette; Jill  "who came tumbling after". The words to the Jack and Jill poem were made more acceptable as a story for children by providing a happy ending. The beheading occurred in during the Reign of Terror in 1793.The first publication date for the lyrics of Jack and Jill rhyme is 1795, which goes with the history and origins. My opinions on the "popular" interpretations of Jack and Jill are that they seem to be only circulated through young children only and i was thinking how could we twist this story to open the target more to older viewers. I interpreted the rhyme into a modern context by portraying the themes and story of "Jack and Jill" with a humorous violent twist through cute animals similar to those of "Happy Tree Friends" aimed at an older  audience (Mid Teens and up 13+) then the popular versions target (Young Children). I chosen to tell my rhyme this way as i think  it is quite a nice style to entertain viewers and there is a  large audience of people who enjoy this style of cartoons but due to government rules and censorship regulations now programs like this are not being made that often anymore due to being "too violent",the style appeals to me and i thought it would be a fun path to explore.I chosen this Happy Tree Friends style as i think it best suits the story i had made up when brainstorming and will be a good way to entertain viewers through the expressions and  violent comedy. I chosen music best to replicate the same style as "Happy Tree Friends" with action and general sounds but not too much speech really utilizing expressions to describe the story  and the jungle music just working coherently with the setting of the story.

Movement Research

Hand Details for reference

Researching how they animate the action of falling in happy tree friends
they shake their arms and spin around

in this example it cut straight to the view of the moose on the ground injured after the fall scene instead of animating the collision. this is what i will do in my animation.

three examples of the happy tree friends style of movement for a monkey type character.

Things i noticed:
-the tail does not move all the time it stays still and changes only when there is a change of expression or emotion by the character, also when it simply showing motion example when the monkey flys through the air.
-when there is a super close up things get quite detailed slightly to the point its disturbing.
-
(1) i will reference this for my scene where the banana pod breaks off.
(2) his tail representing the forward motion of the monkey flying through the air.

In this scene bhuddist monkey screams and as his emotions changeon his face the tail animates as each face switches to the next.
1)
2)
two examples of background motion and imagery
-slightly simplified
-thin white speed lines
-moving backgrounds

use this same technique to highlight the importance and value of the banana pod in my story
with the character reaching up to the bananas using a low angle shot and the ray of  "holy" light.
